Responsibilities:
- Drive Net-New opportunity creation by originating and developing a rich pipeline of relationships with C-suite and senior executives at target organizations, converting strategic conversations about their business needs into qualified sales opportunities
- Client origination and a relentless pursuit of new business at the "top of the funnel" by partnering with our delivery teams and senior leadership, and alliance sales team; leveraging their insights to unlock and shape opportunities from inception
- Master the competitive landscape and client business issues to rapidly connect challenges with KPMG solutions; build, iterate, and strategically penetrate a "Power Map" of C-suite and senior executive relationships to open doors and expand KPMG's footprint in new accounts
- Leverage AI for selling superpowers by utilizing cutting-edge AI tools to build efficiency and gain a competitive edge in prospecting, strategic research, and initial outreach, allowing for a more targeted and intelligent sales approach
- Achieve key sales objectives by driving business relationship goals, booking targets, and other key performance indicators that measure success in a hunter-centric role
- Lead the orchestration of internal KPMG resources including partners, marketing, and client engagement teams to effectively penetrate greenfield relationships and clients; and provide Front-Line Intelligence to internal teams on what it takes to win new business, sharing competitive intelligence and market reception to sharpen our collective approach
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to contribute to KPMG's respectful and high-performing work environment
- Minimum ten years of recent experience demonstrated selling a broad range of professional services in a complex sales cycle environment for financial services clients in the capital markets and asset management sectors
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited college/university preferred; or minimum of a high school diploma or GED required plus ten years of previous experience in enterprise level solution sales
- Successfully demonstrate success at utilizing a hunting approach to uncovering new sales opportunities within current and net-new accounts, track record of exceeding targets in a sales environment
- Strategic relationship building, success in identifying, initiating, and nurturing new business opportunities, with an ability to leverage social media and other modern tools in this pursuit
- Interpersonal skills have resulted in business transactions built on trust, confidence, and tangible results
- Successfully demonstrate one's ability in tech-savvy sales approach; utilizing a Customer Relationship Management tool to manage the entire sales lifecycle and demonstrated interest or experience in using AI and other technologies to enhance sales effectiveness
- Ability to travel regularly
