KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Washington National Tax (WNT) practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other offices of the firm to provide advice to their clients
  • Collaborate with other practice groups in Washington National Tax and work with KPMG International member firms
  • Review tax memoranda and tax opinions
  • Instruct internal firm courses related to Income, Franchise, Indirect, Value Added Tax (VAT), Sales and Use, and other State and Local taxation
  • Review articles and other risk management activities

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm
  • Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
  • Excellent advisory and compliance skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
