Responsibilities:
- Work closely with other offices of the firm to provide advice to their clients
- Collaborate with other practice groups in Washington National Tax and work with KPMG International member firms
- Review tax memoranda and tax opinions
- Instruct internal firm courses related to Income, Franchise, Indirect, Value Added Tax (VAT), Sales and Use, and other State and Local taxation
- Review articles and other risk management activities
- A minimum of one year of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm
- Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
- Excellent advisory and compliance skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
