KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director to join our Corporate Affairs organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic communications plans and deliverables in alignment with firm-wide strategic objectives, with primary focus on KPMG U.S. Board of Directors communications support
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to advance key strategic priorities and ensure communications deliverables
- Ensure dissemination of relevant and timely information
- Accountable for talking points, messaging, intranet content, event briefs, presentations, and more
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, developing project plans, timelines and status reports to ensure compliance with governance policies and quality outcomes; reimagine communications and operational processes and best practices that increase efficiency and impact
- Support executive visibility efforts for firm leadership in coordination with broader team
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in corporate affairs, communications or a related field
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Demonstrated expertise in Board communications, executive visibility strategies and corporate branding
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and ability to manage communication within complex organizational structures; excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at crafting strategic narratives and messaging
- Solid interpersonal and leadership skills, with proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across senior stakeholder groups in order to execute communication strategies that align with organizational goals; ability to excel in fast-paced environment as a flexible and proactive team player who exercises independent judgment and can excel in ambiguity
- Demonstrated experience using generative AI within day-to-day role, as well as desire to expand skillset and leverage internal tools to enhance ways of working and streamline processes to improve efficiencies
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
