Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of property maintenance.
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are met.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and address their concerns to ensure tenant satisfaction.
- Assist with the turnover process of vacant units, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools to ensure safety and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role, preferably in multifamily property management.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with residents and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
- Flexibility to be on call for emergency repairs as needed.
