As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure all housing units and facilities are in excellent working condition. Key Responsibilities{{:}}
- Execute repairs and maintenance in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
- Address resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Assist with unit turnover and maintenance preparation for new residents
- Conduct periodic inspections to identify and rectify potential maintenance issues
- Keep maintenance tools and inventory organized and well-stocked
- Collaborate with property management to prioritize maintenance tasks
- Adhere to safety guidelines and industry regulations at all times
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Proficient knowledge of common residential systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
