Assistant Maintenance

• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of property maintenance
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are met
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and address their concerns to ensure tenant satisfaction
• Assist with the turnover process of vacant units, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and assist in ordering when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools to ensure safety and efficiency

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in facilities maintenance is a plus
• Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role, preferably in multifamily property management
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC operations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with residents and team members effectively
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team
• Flexibility to be on call for emergency repairs as needed
