Responsibilities:
- Design and develop packaging solutions for automotive components and assemblies.
- Evaluate packaging requirements to ensure product protection, cost efficiency, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing plants, and logistics teams on packaging implementation.
- Conduct packaging validation, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
- Create packaging specifications, standards, and documentation.
- Support packaging-related activities for new product launches.
- Analyze packaging costs and identify opportunities for optimization and waste reduction.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of packaging engineering experience.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, design standards, and validation processes.
- Experience in manufacturing or automotive environments preferred.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
