The Contract Administrator works under supervision of the Deputy General Counsel. The Contract Administrator prepares contracts, amendments and termination letters. The Contract Administrator coordinates with internal and external parties for contract execution, keeping excellent searchable records.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparation, redlining and reviewing of contracts, amendments and termination letters.
- Responsible for the management of ProAct’s contract life cycle, including visual management board updates on activity.
- Distribute and track contracts throughout the organization.
- Respond to contract update requests.
- Participate in sales, account management and RFP team meetings to support company goals.
- Track contract expirations and renewal dates, working with sales and account management teams for proactive contract management.
- Assist in reporting, document retention or other requirements for effective enterprise-wide document retention and record-keeping.
- Contract template management and organization.
- Communicate with external business partners as needed.
- Partner with Deputy General Counsel as needed relating to redline reviews, standardization efforts, and templates.
- Partner, as needed, with KPH Counsel and Deputy General Counsel for document requests and subpoena responses.
- Prioritizes workflow to meet internal and external deadlines.
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
- Perform other legal assistant, legal drafting or paralegal duties as assigned.
Education:
- Minimum: Bachelors Degree or paralegal
- Preferred: Bachelors Degree plus contract management/records management certification
- 5 years in a contract drafting position, drafting detailed contracts (PBM/TPA experience ideal but not required)
- Previous contract drafting position that required working on a team or in a collaborative working environment
- Previous administrative experience with letter drafting and responsive document gathering.
- Previous supervisory or project management experience
