Note: The client will always prefer candidates with similar industry experience such as Fashion, beauty, or retail.
- Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.
- Ensures products are developed consistently with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.
- Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.
- Makes necessary adjustments with factories to ensure the integrity of design-approved prototypes while monitoring quality and target price.
- Typically reports to Technical Services Manager.
- Typically directs Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in technical design. Sleepwear experience.
