Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to support the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and industrial control systems for large-scale Oil & Gas, LNG, Offshore, Petrochemical, Power Generation, and Industrial Infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in electrical power distribution, PLC/DCS systems, instrumentation engineering, industrial communications, MCCs, substations, and project leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical and instrumentation engineering activities from conceptual design through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup.
- Develop electrical deliverables including one-line diagrams, power distribution drawings, grounding plans, cable schedules, conduit layouts, lighting systems, and area classification drawings.
- Design and support PLC, DCS, PCS, and SIS control system architectures, including I/O allocation, marshalling cabinets, control panels, and field instrumentation integration.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop equipment layouts for substations, MCC buildings, switchgear, transformers, communication racks, and network cabinets.
- Support procurement activities including vendor evaluations, technical bid reviews, equipment specifications, and material requisitions.
- Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), commissioning, startup, loop checks, and troubleshooting activities.
- Design grounding, bonding, and lightning protection systems in accordance with IEEE, NEC, API, and NFPA standards.
- Support industrial communication systems including fiber optics, telecommunications, CCTV, access control, public address systems, and networking infrastructure.
- Review vendor drawings, technical documentation, and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct design reviews, project meetings, and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC, API, and company engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10 years of Electrical & Instrumentation engineering experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Offshore, Petrochemical, Refining, Power, or Industrial Facilities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, ABB, or similar DCS platforms.
- Experience with PLC systems and industrial automation projects.
- Knowledge of telecommunications, CCTV, access control, and security systems.
- Offshore, LNG, FPSO, or Petrochemical project experience.
- Experience using AutoCAD, AVEVA PDMS, Navisworks, MicroStation, or similar design tools.
