Job Description:
As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for manufacturing and automation processes. Your role will involve creating electrical drawings, programming PLCs, developing HMI applications, and integrating various control systems to ensure efficient and safe operation of machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Create electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and HMI programs using Allen-Bradley PLCs and related software.
System Integration: Integrate Safety PLC control systems, servo controllers, and other automation equipment.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Maintenance Support: Assist the plant maintenance team in maintaining and upgrading control systems.
Compliance: Ensure all control systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., NFPA, OSHA).
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, providing technical guidance and support.
Skill Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming Allen-Bradley PLCs and developing ladder logic.
Experience with HMI development and integration.
Knowledge of servo controllers and motion control systems.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical for designing electrical schematics.
Understanding of robot integration and programming (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka).
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve control system issues.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering, with at least 1 year working with Allen-Bradley PLCs and ladder logic12.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CNC troubleshooting.
Familiarity with industry standards (UL, CE).

- Main Chemist is responsible for recipes and mixing ink, and sole operator of tools and POC work. Needs someone to take this work over.
- Controls Engineer Needed: To manage and work on PLCs, which control mixing, weighing, and tool enhancements.
PLC Details
- Functions: Mixing ink formulations, weighing ink and adding mixtures, controlling new and current tools.
- Allen Bradley PLCs: Using Ladder Logic, web-based software for controls, essential programming tasks.
Job Requirements
- Position: Onsite, full-time in Corvallis, OR.
- Experience: 3-5 years with ATI and ATS, high-level PLC technician capable of working with various PLCs, including controlling valves
