Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to support and optimize critical Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). In this role, you will act as a problem-solver and system expert, diagnosing issues across multiple components, ensuring system stability, and driving continuous improvements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and deliver high-quality support to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions, with a strong focus on Manhattan Warehouse Solutions.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across WMS components in a timely manner.
- Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements for the Manhattan WMS platform.
- Design and implement enhancements to improve system functionality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into effective solutions.
- Maintain strong client relationships by providing proactive support and clear communication.
- Support and optimize Blue Yonder WMS functionalities to meet evolving business needs.
- Develop documentation, conduct training sessions, and guide team members on best practices and system processes.
- Monitor system operations to ensure performance, stability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Warehouse Management Systems, specifically Manhattan WMS.
- Proven experience in application support, troubleshooting, and system analysis.
- Solid understanding of Business Analysis and Client Relationship Management.
- Experience with Blue Yonder WMS is highly preferred.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and deliver scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Experience in supply chain or logistics domain.
- Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and data flows within WMS environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).
