Prepares operating rooms for surgery, using appropriate techniques; performs a variety of technical duties to assists patients with surgery.
Requirements:
- Completion of Surgical Technologist course
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- BLS – must be completed only by American Heart Association
- 2 years previous experience as surgical technician
