SUMMARY:
The Surgical Assistant has the responsibility to provide indirect patient care under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse. He/she maintains patient safety during patient transport.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BCLS (within 30 days of employment)
- Has full command (verbal and written) of the English language.
- Possesses the physical ability and perceptive acuity, e.g., visual, hearing, to satisfactorily perform all functions. See physical activity evaluation form attached.
