SUMMARY
The Radiologic / Cat Scan Technologist projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance, and conduct. Supports the radiology Department mission. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard procedures and policies and conforms to them. This knowledge may include the use of specialized instrumentation, quality control requirements, specific regulatory requirements of Title 22, California Licensing & Certification of Health facilities; Title 17, California Radiation Control Regulations; and, preventive maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
- Current State of California certification and licensure in Fluoroscopy and Radiography
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
