Director Cardiology

Provides leadership, direction, and administration of operations to ensure compliance with established objectives and the realization of quality, economical health care services.  Primary responsibilities include business development, strategic planning and assurance of overall quality and efficiency of the cardiology programs within the organization. Directly responsible and accountable for all management and administrative duties related to the Cardiac Service Line, including coordinating activities of all disciplines to enhance the development of a community based program; oversees Cardiac Nurse Practitioner and Cardiac Rehab Program.

Requirements:

1. Min 3 years experience in managing Cardiovascular Services, 5 years preferred
2. Strong clinical background in Cardiovascular Services, 3-5 recent Cath Lab experience required 
3. Current California RN license
4. Current BLS, ACLS, IABP certification
5. Bachelors required, Master’s degree preferred
6. Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows (Word and Excel at a minimum) and Outlook
7. Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible, experience in public speaking
