The Director of Marketing, Auto Division, is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for driving demand generation, brand growth, and customer engagement across KPA’s automotive compliance and risk mitigation solutions. This division serves dealerships, service centers, collision centers, and adjacent automotive markets, helping them manage complex regulatory requirements through industry-leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) and consulting solutions. Core product capabilities include Environmental Health & Safety, Advertising Sales & Finance, Privacy & Safeguards, and Human Resources. The Director will lead a talented marketing team to strengthen brand presence, accelerate growth, and improve retention across these product lines. Acting as a player-coach, this individual will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution in demand generation, SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing, and will develop scalable systems and measurable programs that further position KPA Auto as the trusted partner and leader for compliance and risk mitigation in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic and Operational Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with Auto Division goals for revenue growth, pipeline generation, and customer success.
  • Translate division strategy into actionable campaigns across digital, content, events, and partner marketing.
  • Establish and monitor performance KPIs, such as lead generation, campaign ROI, pipeline contribution, and brand awareness.
  • Manage marketing budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive cross-functional alignment and full-funnel growth.
  • Build scalable processes for planning, reporting, and optimizing marketing operations across channels.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and automation to enhance campaign targeting, customer segmentation, predictive analytics, and performance optimization.
  • Demand Generation and Growth Marketing Design and execute demand generation campaigns focused on dealership and automotive market segments.
  • Manage SEO, website optimization, and paid media (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) to increase qualified pipeline.
  • Oversee nurture and ABM programs that accelerate conversion and retention.
  • Leverage analytics to monitor performance and refine strategy for continuous improvement.
  • Incorporate AI-driven tools and machine learning models to personalize campaigns, forecast demand trends, and optimize media spend in real time.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to optimize lead scoring, routing, and attribution processes.
  • Brand, Content, and Communications define and manage Auto Division brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and creative execution.
  • Lead content strategy and production, including thought leadership, webinars, case studies, and customer spotlights.
  • Use generative AI tools to accelerate content creation, improve SEO performance, and test message variations for engagement optimization.
  • Oversee website content accuracy, SEO performance, and user experience.
  • Manage public relations and media efforts to build credibility in the automotive compliance space.
  • Field, Partner & Event Marketing Build co-marketing programs with associations, dealerships, and channel partners to drive visibility and leads.
  • Plan and execute industry events, tradeshows, and webinars aligned to demand generation goals.
  • Measure ROI of field and event programs, integrating outcomes into broader campaign analytics.
  • AI and Marketing Innovation - Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging AI technologies to enhance marketing performance, customer insights, and campaign automation.
  • Stay current on AI trends, tools, and ethical considerations to ensure responsible and effective use of technology.
  • Collaborate with Product and Data teams to leverage AI for customer intelligence and retention initiatives.
  • Team Leadership Lead and mentor a cross-functional marketing team spanning campaign management, product marketing, partner marketing, and events. Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture built on creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Strengthen collaboration with corporate marketing to maintain consistency while advancing Auto-specific initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize structure, workflows, and systems to improve efficiency and impact.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, ideally within SaaS and technology organizations.
  • Automotive industry experience, deep familiarity with dealership operations, or insurance experience is a major plus.
  • 3 years in a marketing leadership or player-coach role managing integrated campaigns and teams.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable growth through demand generation, SEO, and content marketing.
  • Expertise in HubSpot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEO tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and data fluency; comfortable building dashboards and interpreting campaign metrics.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities; skilled at making complex topics accessible and engaging.
  • Highly adaptable and entrepreneurial; thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where strategy and execution intersect.

Strengthens KPA Auto’s brand as the leading compliance and risk mitigation partner to dealerships and adjacent markets. Demonstrates strong alignment between marketing, sales, and product teams to drive revenue outcomes. Builds a streamlined, scalable marketing structure that supports ongoing division growth. Increases visibility, engagement, and trust within the automotive compliance space.

Location

  • KPA is headquartered in Westminster, CO (just outside of Denver). We operate in a hybrid, remote-first work model where local employees work in the office occasionally for in-person collaboration, team meetings and events. For this position, we are ideally targeting someone in Colorado (Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, CO Springs, etc.) with some travel expectations for attendance at in-person team meetings as necessary (infrequent).

Compensation

  • Base salary range between $150-170k based on experience and other qualifications
  • Annual bonus potential of 20% of base salary
