Position Summary
The Production Worker is responsible for supporting daily food manufacturing and packaging operations in a warehouse environment. This role ensures that products are produced, handled, and stored according to company standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Production & Processing
- Operate manufacturing equipment such as mixers, conveyors, slicers, or packaging machines.
- Measure, weigh, and prepare raw materials according to production specifications.
- Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operation and report any issues to supervisors.
- Perform quality checks on products, packaging, labels, and codes.
Food Safety & Quality Control
- Follow all food safety guidelines, including GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain clean work areas and assist with daily and scheduled deep-clean tasks.
- Ensure products meet quality standards before packaging or shipment.
Warehouse & Material Handling
- Move raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and organizing inventory in the warehouse.
- Properly label, store, and rotate products (FIFO).
Pay: $17.00 per hour
