Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from start to finish. This role requires a dynamic individual who excels in managing multiple facets of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and team supervision. As a key player in our team, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Your expertise in construction management software and technical skills will drive project success and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites, supervising subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain productivity and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of design specifications
- Coordinate procurement processes, including contract negotiations and management of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce OSHA safety regulations, quality control measures, and adherence to project plans
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software to document progress, manage change orders, and facilitate communication among stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in managing large-scale projects
- Supervising experience with a track record of leading diverse teams on active construction sites
- Extensive knowledge of construction site safety protocols including OSHA regulations
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques
- Familiarity with the use of measurement tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections
- Strong understanding of contracts management, budgeting processes, and project scheduling methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders
- OSHA 10 or 30 is preferred as well as any other construction related certifications
- Pay varies based on experience and certifications
