KP Aviation is a leading international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets. The Product Line Representative – GE Engines supports the commercial, operational, and strategic activities of KP Aviation’s GE engine product line. This role is responsible for evaluating engine material, supporting acquisition and teardown decisions, managing repair events, analyzing market data, and partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Repairs, and Product Line leadership. The Product Line Representative helps ensure that GE engine material is acquired, repaired, priced, and routed in a way that maximizes gross margin, inventory health, and overall product line performance.


Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge of GE engine platforms, strong analytical and financial awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with industry partners.

Your role will take you to new heights, as you’ll be tasked with these essential job responsibilities:


• Support valuation, acquisition analysis, and lifecycle management of whole engines, modules, QEC/LRU packages, and auxiliary engine material.

• Build and analyze proformas, pricing sheets, and financial models to support engine acquisitions, repair events, part-outs, and material investment decisions.

• Assist in implementing pricing strategies for engines, modules, and piece parts based on market data, customer demand, and product line objectives.

• Partner with Sales to identify customer needs, opportunities, and demand trends across GE engine platforms.

• Support engine teardown activities, including workscope review, repair station coordination, material routing, and cost/turnaround tracking.

• Ensure all material meets certification and traceability requirements, including 8130/EASA releases, shop visit documentation, AD/SB status, and LLP back-to-birth trace.

• Monitor inventory levels, aging material, and engine build opportunities, providing recommendations to Product Line leadership.

• Maintain market intelligence on GE engine platforms, including repair cost trends, green-time valuations, material demand, and competitive landscape.

• Assist in negotiating pricing, repair slots, and commercial terms with MROs, repair stations, suppliers, and customers under Product Line leadership guidance.

• Represent the product line in internal meetings, customer discussions, repair vendor calls, and occasional site visits.

• Track and report key metrics such as material yield, repair costs, turnaround times, sales velocity, and margin performance.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize teardown yield, reduce repair costs, and streamline internal processes.

• Serve as a subject matter resource for teams needing insight into GE engine configurations, module structure, and material demand.

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the GE Engines Product Line.


To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have:


• Strong technical and market knowledge of GE engine platforms and the aviation aftermarket.

• Understanding of engine records, LLP traceability, AD/SB compliance, shop visit documentation, and module-level configuration.

• Ability to perform basic financial modeling and analyze ROI, repair economics, and investment scenarios (advanced Excel preferred).

• Strong negotiation awareness and ability to support commercial discussions with MROs, suppliers, and customers.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to handle competing priorities.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical or financial concepts clearly.

• Ability to build internal and external relationships that support product line success.

• High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume trading environment.

• Ability to research, analyze, and recommend solutions aligned with internal processes and industry standards.

• Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and a strong desire to learn GE engine platforms in depth.
