Description
This position will report to Director IT in the Koya IT department. The role is full time, exempt and will work in our Dallas, TX location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Design, build, and govern enterprise integrations on the Koya MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including modern API‑led, event‑driven, and AI‑enabled architectures.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Architect and develop System, Process, and Experience APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Design and implement integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite, Rippling, Sophos, Arena, and other critical SaaS/legacy systems
- Build key OCR capabilities and integrations with MuleSoft IDP platform leveraging its AI capabilities
- Perform code reviews, enforce best practices and optimize platform performance, logging and security
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting
- Ensure a strong foundation for the MuleSoft anypoint platform to enable future growth and scalability
- Ensure secure credential management, encryption, and adherence to key compliance standards (HIPAA, SOX etc.)
- Evaluate, discover, adopt, and implement MuleSoft AI capabilities to solve Koya’s key business needs
Minimum Qualifications
Education, Experience and Training
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
- Hands-on experience on MuleSoft platform and integrations is mandatory
- Working knowledge and experience in MuleSoft IDP is a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 4 years of integration experience (APIs & microservices), 3 years on MuleSoft
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP, RAML, API‑led connectivity, and Agile delivery
- Experience with DevOps, GitHub/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipeline, and cloud/SaaS integrations
- MuleSoft Developer/Architect certifications preferred
