What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Bakery Packaging Department position at Kowalski's Markets?

Seeking a long-term employee (year-round). Candidates must have an interest in bread. Experience is appreciated but not required. On the job training will be provided. Job duties encompass all aspects of bread production with a focus on packaging.
Availability Requirements:
- 24-30 hours/week
- Available Monday - Saturday
- Shifts between 8am - 5pm
- Must be available Wednesdays
Must be able to:
- Prioritize and work without supervision, a self-starter.
- Assists with food preparation, proper product handling, ability to read and understand formulas for mixing product, baking, proper packaging, and labeling.
- Ensures freshness and quality of all products.
- Maintains safe work environment, cleanliness of workstation, uphold food safety and sanitization standards in the Central Bakery.
- Able to lift/carry 5 to 50 pounds and follow proper lifting techniques. Needs to be able to push/pull 5 to 75 pounds. Frequent repetitive motion required including but not limited to reaching, standing, stooping, bending, turning, and walking. Exposure to cold temperatures (0-40 degrees).
