Maintenance Technician

Role Overview
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our dedicated team! If you have experience with equipment repair, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems—and enjoy hands-on problem solving—this is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills. In this role, you will work closely with experienced maintenance staff, gain exposure to a variety of facility systems, and help ensure our operations remain safe, reliable, and efficient every day.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and building systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from plant staff and management.
- Complete repairs in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Assist with welding, cutting, and pipe fitting as needed.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized maintenance or repairs.
- Operate forklifts and other facility equipment safely.
- Follow schematics, prints, and instructions to complete tasks independently.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; trade-related training is a plus.
- Manufacturing experience preferred; food production experience is a bonus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
- Forklift license or ability to obtain.
- Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule
- 8–10-hour shifts
- Day shift, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend availability as needed
