Restaurant Host - Korean BBQ

Job Summary
Join the opening team at KOW, Des Plaines’ newest upscale Korean BBQ spot! We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and organized Hosts/Hostesses to join our dynamic team who can warmly welcome guests and help ensure smooth seating and flow during service. This role is crucial in providing a positive first impression and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
• Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting guests with inquiries and reservations.
• Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
• Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth guest flow and service.
• Assist in managing dining room setup and cleanliness.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
