Physical Therapist

Kovo Health
Tennessee, IL Full Time
POSTED ON 5/19/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 7/18/2026

The Opportunity

Kovo Health partners with licensed Tennessee Physical Therapists who want an independent practice opportunity with real autonomy: you build your own patient caseload, control how you practice, and grow your earnings as you grow your book of business—while Kovo handles the infrastructure (credentialing, billing, collections, and the platform).

We support licensed PTs who want to grow their own independent outpatient practices without taking on administrative burden or upfront costs. Many clinicians start part-time and expand at their own pace while maintaining full control over their schedule and clinical approach.

This opportunity is well-suited for physical therapists who value one-on-one care, independence, and long-term practice growth.

If you have an entrepreneur mindset, enjoy one-on-one care, and want flexibility without taking on the administrative burden of running a practice alone, this is built for you.

Who This Is For
You’ll thrive here if you are:

  • Motivated to build and expand your own caseload
  • Comfortable networking and generating referrals (community, physicians, trainers, employers, etc.)
  • Clinically independent and confident delivering high-quality outpatient care
  • Looking for flexibility, autonomy, and long-term upside without clinic politics or rigid schedules

How You Earn

  • $50 per billable treatment hour
  • Your earnings are not tied to clinic schedules—your income grows as you build your patient caseload
  • You control your availability and the pace of your growth (start part-time and expand)

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Full autonomy over your schedule and availability
  • Flexibility to grow your caseload at your own pace
  • Ability to operate part-time or full-time
  • Direct ownership of your patient relationships
  • Build your own private practice

What You’ll Do

As an independent contractor PT partnered with Kovo, you will:

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide evidence-based treatment and patient education
  • Document care in the platform (timely, accurate, compliant)
  • Communicate with referring providers as appropriate
  • Build and maintain your caseload through professional relationships and community presence
  • Deliver a high-touch, one-on-one patient experience

What Kovo Provides (So You Can Focus on Care Growth)

Kovo supports you with the back-end practice infrastructure, including:

  • No cost to join or use the Kovo platform
  • Insurance credentialing support (major payers)
  • Billing, claims submission, and collections
  • All-in-one platform for scheduling, documentation, billing, and messaging
  • Operational and compliance infrastructure that reduces the “business overhead” of going solo

What You Provide

  • Your clinical expertise and patient care delivery
  • Your availability and preferred service footprint
  • Your commitment to building your caseload through referrals, networking, and community relationships
  • Interest in outpatient, one-on-one care
  • Professionalism, responsiveness, and timely documentation

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Tennessee Physical Therapist license
  • Strong communication and patient relationship skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
  • Ability to meet documentation/compliance expectations
  • Motivated, self-directed, and growth-oriented

Preferred

  • 2 years outpatient experience (helpful but not required if you’re confident and self-directed)
  • Existing referral relationships or a clear plan to build them

Work Style & Environment

  • Mobile/community-based care (not an in-clinic schedule)
  • Flexible hours set by you
  • Must be able to travel locally within your chosen service area and perform standard physical demands of patient care

Pay: $50.00 per hour
