This is a remote freelance role working directly under the Director of Content Development. The Social Media Strategist will oversee social media planning and distribution for select clients, primarily in real estate and lifestyle verticals.
You will take high-production long-form content—videos, photography, narratives—and translate it into a cohesive monthly social media strategy tailored to each platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop platform-specific social media strategies for each client (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Build monthly content calendars and distribution schedules
- Coordinate with our internal team and social media editors
- Optimize content for reach and engagement through captions, tags, music selection, and trend adaptation
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
- Maintain consistent communication and deliverables across multiple clients
- Proven experience in social media strategy for brands or agencies
- Strong understanding of platform trends, content formats, and algorithm behavior
- Ability to translate long-form content into compelling social narratives
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with analytics tools and data-driven optimization
- Real estate, lifestyle, or community-focused brand experience is a plus
Compensation is negotiable and determined by experience. Strategists who take on multiple clients within our department will have the opportunity to scale earnings as new clients are added.
