Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Coder. Certification is preferred. Experience with Epic and Tebra is a plus. We are looking for an individual who has experience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS, is detail-orientated with excellent verbal, written, and time management skills. The successful candidate enjoys and can work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full time position.
Job Duties:
· Assign the correct CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCs codes to bill insurance providers
· Determine the correct code(s) from provider’s documentation
· Read and analyze patient records
· Provide education to staff and clients on coding-related topics
Requirements:
· CPC or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent written, grammar, and communication skills
· Possess excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Possess the ability to read and interpret provider’s documentation
- Respond timely to inquiries by patients or clients
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
