Job Summary

Join the vibrant Kotti Berliner team in NYC, where Berlin’s energetic street food culture comes to life. As a Shift Leader or Team Member, you will be an integral part of delivering an authentic German/Turkish culinary experience. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards, managing shifts, and leading a dynamic team to provide exceptional customer service. Whether you’re guiding team members or supporting food preparation, your contribution will help bring the spirit of Berlin to Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Shift Leader

• Lead and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
• Knowledge of Square POS and Toast POS systems a plus , to efficiently process orders accurately and swiftly
• Manage daily shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer experiences shift management is preferred.
• Must have NYC Dept. of Health -Food Handlers Card
• Must be able to manage a team of up to 6 team members
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
• Oversee team performance during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in food preparation, maintaining quality standards for all menu items.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Team member

• Be on time for your shift
• Some experience preferred but not necessary, we will train you the Kotti way
• We will train you on food safety practices and sanitation standards.
• Assist in food preparation, maintaining quality standards for all menu items.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating needs to management
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• NYC Dept. of Health -Food Handlers Card not a must
• Passion for delivering exceptional service and representing the vibrant spirit of Berlin’s street food culture

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
