Position Overview:
As a Banquet Server at Kotecki's Grandview Grove, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive the highest level of service and satisfaction during their events. This position requires a commitment to excellence, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up for events by arranging table settings, linens, and decor.
- Provide courteous and efficient food and beverage service to guests.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and event planning teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the event.
- Address any guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist with cleanup and breakdown after events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing event requirements.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Availability to work mid-day, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
