Role Description
This is a part-time with potential to become full time hybrid position for an NDT Technician based in the Erie-Meadville Area, with the flexibility to work from home for some responsibilities. In this role, the candidate will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques such as visual, dye penetrant, magnetic particle and ultrasonic. The NDT Technician will conduct inspections, prepare detailed reports, and ensure adherence to quality control standards. Collaboration with clients for inspections and process improvements is also a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in dye penetrant, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic methods.
- Experience in Quality Control and Inspection processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate inspection reports.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid workplace setting.
- Certification(s) in NDT methods such as ASNT or documented OJT and formal training are preferred.
- Experience in infrastructure, defense, or aerospace industries is a plus.
