Central Sterile Processing Tech/Surgical Aide
Full Time - 72 hours per pay period
Kossuth Regional Health Center is seeking a Central Sterile Processing Tech/Surgical Aide to join our dedicated surgical team. In this hands-on role, you'll help keep procedures running smoothly by preparing sterile instruments, supporting surgical teams, and assisting with patient care. What You’ll Do:
- Sterilize, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment
- Prepare supplies and instruments for surgical procedures
- Clean and process endoscopes and other reusable equipment
- Support patient care under the supervision of nursing staff
- Assist with patient transport and room turnover
- Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient surgical environment
- Maintain a sterile field and follow OR protocols
- Maintain accurate & timely documentation using electronic health records
- Participate in on-call rotation and team-based care
