Kosper is a startup specializing in the design, manufacturing, and sales of residential garage doors and industrial doors.
Most people have never viewed garage doors as a “design element.” Kosper aims to redefine their role—turning garage doors into a part of residential architecture and helping every home reflect the homeowner’s preferred style.
We have launched pilot programs in Edmonton, Calgary, and Saskatoon in Canada and have received strong positive feedback. As we expand into the U.S. market, we are seeking experienced Regional Sales Managers to help establish Kosper across the West Coast and Midwest regions.
Role Summary
This role is responsible for driving regional sales growth, building customer and dealer networks, and representing Kosper locally. You will operate primarily within the region surrounding your home to maintain a balance between work and family life.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Kosper in your assigned region and conduct sales activities within the area surrounding your residence.
- Maintain communication with regional customers and dealers to promote sales and market expansion of Kosper products.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive dynamics; develop and refine regional sales plans and strategies.
- Develop new customer channels and build dealer/distributor networks while maintaining long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Management to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Assist with pricing, quotations, and contract execution.
- Prepare and maintain regional sales reports, forecasts, and KPI analysis.
- Act as Kosper’s brand representative and communicate our design-driven value proposition to customers.
Requirements
- 5 years of regional sales and account management experience (garage door or industrial door industry experience preferred).
- Strong initiative and field sales experience; ability to actively build customer relationships and drive results.
- Passion for building and maintaining direct sales relationships in competitive SMB markets.
- Ability to develop and execute business plans while establishing mutually beneficial customer relationships.
- Highly proactive, able to independently identify new opportunities and close deals.
- Excellent time management, strong follow-up skills, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic market.
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; CRM experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proven ability to effectively work from a home office.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently, including short trips and occasional overnight travel (approx. 75%).
- Existing connections within the U.S. garage door dealer community or building materials supply chain are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000–$200,000 USD (dependent on experience, skills, and region).
- 10% of annual net profit shared by the Sales & Marketing team.
