Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business development and managing client accounts within the automotive sales sector. This role requires a proactive approach to warm-calling potential clients, analyzing market trends, and managing a current book of clients. The Account Executive will play a crucial role in fostering relationships and leading initiatives to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates and negotiates with customer representatives and other sales staff regularly in order to establish, update, and achieve short-term and mid-term sales goals, budgets, strategies, and activities that are consistent with our current and anticipated production capacity and capabilities.
Develops, updates, distributes, and discusses sales forecasts and information on a regular basis with managerial, production, and technical staff in order to:
Develop sales goals, budgets, strategies, and activities.
Convey customer requirements, requests, and concerns.
Address client concerns promptly and efficiently, ensuring that issues are resolved to the client's satisfaction.
Foster strong relationships with clients through regular communication, proactive outreach, and personalized service.
Compile and submit sales quotations for new programs.
Achieve and maintain optimal levels for work-in-process and finished goods and minimize premium freight costs.
Develop and revise, as necessary, shipping/delivery procedures and schedules, and provide responses to various customer service issues.
Identify opportunities to increase revenue from existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track account progress, and report on performance to management.
Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring that the terms of service align with client needs and business objectives.
Investigate and report industry trends that can help:
Improve understanding and application of the ‘best practices’ with respect to product design and development, manufacturing, sales, and customer service.
Anticipate and develop plans to meet and exceed customer needs, and enhance the potential for improving the Company’s competitive position, market share, profitability, etc..
Monitors sales budgets, performance, and cost of sales and compiles information as necessary for periodic reports. Prepares documentation, as required, for both domestic and export sales.
Some overnight travel
Performs other duties as assigned by the Kosei St. Marys Corporation President.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree: in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Analytical skills: to evaluate account performance and identify opportunities.
Negotiation skills: to effectively negotiate contracts and agreements.

Project management skills: to manage account plans and deliverables.
Previous experience working with Japanese Customers.
