Christian micro school seeks an experienced, mature-minded teacher to join our program. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing effective instruction for students and willing to learn innovative teaching methods and technologies. Some instruction will be 1-1; otherwise, classes are small (up to five students) and teachers are supported by aids, graders, and other clerical services. Teachers work 4 - 25 hours a week according to their schedule between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM at our light-filled school located between the front and back gates of KMCB. Accommodations are available for teachers needing to pick up their children from school. Additional hours may be available for interested teachers. Training is provided for reading and elementary level math teachers. Extended work hours may be available after 3:30 PM. Qualifications: Applicants should have at least a bachelor’s degree (in any major) and at least two years of experience working with school-aged children. RBT training or other experience working with children with special needs is a plus. This job is great for graduate students, military spouses, and homeschooling parents.
