Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for inpatient populations
- Participate in daily rounds, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary meetings
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and clinical teams to deliver coordinated care
- Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric experience
- Active Georgia license or license eligibility
- Georgia DEA license or ability to obtain
- Comfortable working in an inpatient psychiatric setting
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage acute psychiatric presentations
