What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifestyle Aide position at Koru Health LLC?
Under the direction and guidance of a department head manager, this position provides various activity programming to Assisted Living residents on a daily basis. The examples below are samples of the position's responsibilities and shouldn't be considered comprehensive or complete.
- As assigned, plans, organizes, implements, and directs the activity programs according to care plan practices and resident needs. Monitors assigned programming and activities to help provide constructive feedback on changes or improvements.
- Contributes to care planning process to ensure all activity programming is individualized to meet all identified needs.
- Leads daily activities as assigned in a manner that promotes customer service, independence, entertainment, and quality of life for our residents.
- Provides indirect supervision and guidance of volunteers as outlined by management. This is not a supervisory position, but the role will support our ongoing volunteer program.
- Maintains a good rapport with all staff involved with the care plan/senior resident needs to ensure that team work and cooperation is maintained while providing programming service.
- This role will have primary weekend hours.
- Visits residents and provides assistance with attending or escorting to scheduled activities.
- Participates in continuing educational opportunities for personal growth and development.
