Description: The Host or Hostess is the friendly face that welcomes guests to our establishment, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive. Responsible for managing reservations, seating guests, and maintaining the lobby area, they play a vital role in orchestrating the flow of guests and optimizing their satisfaction. With their warm demeanor and excellent customer service skills, Hosts/Hostesses create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning. Furthermore, they have the opportunity to earn tips through their direct interaction with guests, enhancing their overall compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with a warm greeting and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and communicate wait times effectively.
- Seat guests promptly and efficiently, considering table availability and server rotations.
- Keep the lobby area clean, organized, and inviting for guests.
- Handle phone calls and assist with inquiries and reservation requests.
- Assist servers and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor guest flow to maximize seating efficiency and minimize wait times.
- Provide attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maximize tip potential by delivering exceptional service and hospitality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role is beneficial.

Compensation: $ $30.00 per hour
