What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP of HR position at Korn Ferry?
Role Overview:
Korn Ferry has partnered with an excellent organization in their search for a VP of HR located in Raleigh, NC. This person will serve as a top HR expert and provide guidance, support, and advice on a variety of HR disciplines from employee relations to process improvement to talent development and much more across multiple sites while managing a team. The VP will be a true strategic business partner while working closely with other key leaders and executive management to ensure HR effectiveness and maintain a positive culture while leading and promoting HR initiatives and programs that align with corporate goals and values. This role will be onsite.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead strategy around recruiting, developing, and retaining employees
- Provide organizational development support related to leadership development, succession planning, engagement and recognition
- Work closely with other management to resolve high-level employee relation issues
- Manage compliance, handling all applicable state and federal regulations including but not limited to EEOC and OFCCP compliance
- Identify, create, and foster opportunities to create a positive, dynamic culture where employees have an opportunity to contribute and grow professionally
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree is strongly preferred
- 12 years of progressive HR experience with an emphasis in generalist responsibilities
- Experience participating in or leading acquisition HR due diligence and acquisition integration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives
- Several years of experience leading and developing a team
- Ability to travel (about 20%)
