What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of Finance and Accounting position at Korn Ferry?
Korn Ferry has been exclusively retained to lead the search for a Vice President of Finance and Accounting on behalf of a rapidly growing manufacturing group based in South Carolina.
This executive will serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager and a key member of the business unit leadership team. The role oversees finance, pricing, and IT, with visibility across the broader enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial operations, including reporting, forecasting, pricing, and compliance
- Drive strategic planning, cost analysis, and performance insights
- Manage a team of 30 with 5 direct reports
- Champion process improvements across finance, accounting, and IT
Preferred Experience:
- 15 years in progressive finance roles with strong business acumen specific to the manufacturing industry
- 5 years of supervisory experience
- Strong leadership in matrixed environments
- Ability to distill complex topics crisply into operational terms to effectively drive business decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CMA or CPA or equivalent preferred.
