Korn Ferry has partnered with an industry-leading manufacturer & fabricator to identify a Structural Engineer to join their growing Dallas Leadership Team. The Structural Engineer utilizes structural engineering expertise and analysis to consult on innovative large steel and fabric structures for manufacturing and construction. In this role, you will be responsible for structural analysis, design calculations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilizes knowledge of various engineering principles/analysis and mathematics to perform structural calculations for steel and concrete elements, foundations, and cable configurations for tensile structures.
- Engineers detailed drawings and bills or materials as required for prototype and production build requirements.
- Creates and maintains project schedules to ensure projects meet established timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering Design.
- Minimum of 3-5 Years Structural Engineering experience
- Experience in steel frame structures is preferred.
- Experience in structures utilizing fabric tops is preferred.
- Experience in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) knowledge.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software.
- FEA Analysis
- 3D modeling/analysis application knowledge (Inventor or Solidworks).
