Job Description:
As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities and reporting for the company’s commercial and residential assets.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly reconciliation of all income statement and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements.
- Compile monthly financial packages for internal and external distribution to key stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and periodic forecasts for commercial properties.
- Prepare annual operating budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 3 years experience in commercial or residential property accounting.
- Must be able to work onsite in the Phoenix office five days per week.
- Strong understanding of real estate accounting principles.
- Experience with Yardi.
Fully onsite role based in the Phoenix office (5 days/week).
Salary Range: $80-105k bonus
