Lead Mobile Equipment Mechanic

* Please note: This company is specifically seeking candidates with U.S. military experience w/a Mechanical background *

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Lead Mobile Equipment Mechanic in the Northern Denver CO area. Will travel to local customer sites for troubleshooting and maintenance of company equipment (1-2 hour radius of travel.)

Candidate MUST HAVE strong Leadership experience (will oversee a Field Service team of junior technicians) and proven ability in hydraulics, transmissions, and mechanical troubleshooting.

Previous Field Service/Mobile experience, and a Class B CDL, are highly preferred and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates. (Company will pay for CDL, if required.)

Compensation: $40.00-50.00/hr company service truck

What You Will Do:

• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on heavy equipment (including excavators, dozers, and haul trucks.)
• Lead and mentor junior technicians, improving overall team capability
• Execute hydraulic, transmission, and mechanical repairs on heavy equipment
• Operate independently in the field and proactively identify maintenance issues
• Manage workload priorities and ensure timely completion of repairs
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety standards

Education and Work Experience:

• At least 4 years Active Duty U.S. Military experience w/Mechanical background
• Strong experience with heavy equipment (yellow iron / excavators, dozers, haul trucks)
• Proven ability in hydraulics, transmissions, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Leadership experience or ability to mentor junior technicians
• Experience working in a mobile or field service environment preferred
• CDL Class B preferred (company will provide training if needed)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of fleet maintenance
