We have partnered with our client in their search for a Java Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity in Wilmington, DE.
Responsibilities
- Strong Java Java design patterns / principles (deal-breaker if weak; must understand/debug AI-generated code)
- Ability to lead design and deliver features end-to-end from a given requirement
- Basic AWS knowledge (Lambda, ECS, SNS, etc.)
- Basic relational database design/operational knowledge
- Container knowledge (Docker or ECS; applications packaged and deployed as containers)
Skills Required
- AWS, Java, Terraform
- ECS (not Kubernetes),
- Kafka is a plus,
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of work experience
