Fractional Social Media Marketing Manager Consultant

Our client is a growing travel insurance company seeking a Fractional Social Media Marketing Manager Consultant to lead and execute its social media strategy across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on role for an experienced social media professional who has successfully built and managed brand presence through engaging content, audience growth, and performance-driven campaigns.

The ideal consultant combines creativity with analytics, is comfortable serving as the public face of a brand, and has a proven track record of driving engagement through both organic and paid social efforts.

Location: Remote
Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week

• Own and execute the company's social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and X.
• Develop and publish engaging content including short-form videos, graphics, and written copy.
• Build brand awareness, audience engagement, and social community growth.
• Monitor and manage social media channels, responding to customer interactions and community inquiries as appropriate.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and KPIs to optimize content and campaign effectiveness.
• Manage paid social advertising campaigns and influencer relationships.
• Identify emerging trends, platform updates, and new opportunities to increase reach and engagement.
• Partner with marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align social media initiatives with broader business objectives.
• Provide guidance and best practices to internal stakeholders on social media strategy, content creation, and audience engagement.
  
  

• 5 years of social media marketing experience with responsibility for strategy and execution.
• Demonstrated experience serving as the public face of a brand or personal brand on social media.
• Proven hands-on experience creating social content, including video, imagery, and written copy.
• Strong understanding of social media analytics, engagement metrics, and performance reporting.
• Experience managing both organic and paid social campaigns.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, project management, and remote collaboration capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with a small, fast-paced team.
  
  

• Experience within the insurance, travel, fintech, or related consumer services industries.
• Experience working with influencer marketing campaigns and creator partnerships.
• Familiarity with social media management, content scheduling, and analytics platforms.
