We are seeking an Accounting Manager / Controller to step into a high-impact role supporting our client’s rapidly expanding services division. The division is growing quickly, and the accounting processes need to catch up. That’s exactly why this role exists.
This is a build-it-right opportunity for someone who enjoys:
- Lead all accounting operations for the services division, including month-end close, reporting, and reconciliations
- Manage high-volume transactional accounting (billing, revenue recognition, AP/AR oversight)
- Evaluate and improve existing processes; identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
- Drive standardization, documentation, and process rigor across accounting workflow
- Leading developing a team (starts with 2 direct reports, with growth ahead)
- Turning manual / Excel-heavy workflows into scalable, system-driven processes
- Bringing process rigor without being a bureaucrat
- Partnering closely with leadership to create structure that supports growth
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or related degree
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
- Strong technical accounting foundation leadership presence
- ComputerEase, Deltek, Vista, Sage Intacct or similar experience (highly preferred)
- Construction / project or services accounting exposure strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel and comfort in a high-volume transaction environment
- A track record of improving inefficient, outdated processes

Compensation:
- Base salary up to 125k bonus, profit sharing and 401k match
