Associate Client Partners (ACP) will sit within our C-Suite Assessment and Succession solution and will lead the sales and delivery of complex, custom and multi work-stream projects that meet and exceed client expectations.
This is the level for seasoned professionals capable of conversing confidently and fluidly with Top 200 leaders and C-Suite executives within large organizations. This role oversees assessment and succession for such leaders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
$170,000.00 - $200,000.00
Salary range represents the compensation Korn Ferry expects to pay to a candidate with the requirements for the job posted. Korn Ferry offers competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The ACP – business development focus role in Assessment and Succession is an expert in working with Top 200 leaders in our client organizations to create high-impact executive succession solutions. The work spans the sales process with identifying client needs, evaluating opportunities, creating winning solutions, and seeing the work through by leading active engagements.
- Develop profitable business with key clients through effective client relationship building, account team leadership and impactful collaboration with colleagues across the KF enterprise.
- Build credibility with CHROS and other executive business leaders. Expand relationships and leverage credibility with these senior stakeholders to create assessment, development, and succession solutions.
- Lead opportunities that span multiple service lines and/or geographies. Seen as the key architect of strategies for business development, managing other resources to accomplish this.
- Maintain an appropriate mix of repeat and new business, proactively leveraging relationships to gain entry into new and grow existing accounts. Position KF in the marketplace through contributions to offerings/thought capital development and generating market awareness.
- Lead analysis and interpretation on client / sector business issues, performance, client competitor performance etc. with a view to identifying possible opportunities. Partner with colleagues across capabilities to co-create solutions for clients. Leverage insights to define, recommend and /or co-create strategic solutions for clients. Keen understanding of our client's business needs.
- Interact with colleagues of all levels/expertise from various solutions and from different offices to deliver client work. Actively seek opportunities to support the development of colleagues through many and various means. Will also be leading engagement teams across capabilities for clients.
- Develop a strong internal brand and participate as a collaborative and proactive team member in the practice. Contribute to growing the practice.
- Possess exceptional depth and breadth across all Korn Ferry Advisory offerings, view business issues from multiple expertise angles and leverage deep expertise to offer commercial propositions and solutions that integrate across the business and involve inter-practice approaches not obvious to others.
- Continue to deepen and broaden own consulting skills, business understanding and expertise to enable an expanded viewpoint on issues impacting our clients.
- Typically, a relevant higher (Master’s or Doctorate) degree plus significant (12 years) relevant work experience in a consultancy and/or a client HR function in progressively larger and more complex/high impact client situations.
- Alternatively, significant work experience (12 years) in a top tier professional services firm.
- Perceived as an expert in a particular business sector and/or an area of expertise.
- Strong business development track record, with a consultative selling orientation.
- Demonstrate a strong “outside-in” orientation, driving the development of industry-specific or client-specific products and services to meet emerging business needs, leveraging practice and industry experts and in alignment with global initiatives.
- Masters or Doctorate degree in a related field.
