Accounting Manager

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager in Gardena, Ca. We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional ready to take ownership of accounting operations and help drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and a keen eye for discrepancies across order and inventory systems.Key Responsibilities:• Assisting with oversight of day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger• Calculate monthly commissions, royalty and sales rebate expenses.• Reconcile royalty income• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes• Monthly analysis of financial statements.• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controlsQuickBooks Expertise:This role requires advanced, hands-on proficiency in QuickBooks, including deep utilization of its more complex features. The ideal candidate has demonstrated ability to manage detailed general ledger functions, automate workflows, create customized reporting, reconcile multi-entity accounts, and maintain system accuracy through high-volume, deadline-driven cycles. Strong QuickBooks experience is essential and will be a core component of day-to-day responsibilities. Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. • 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a leadership role within a mid- size company that had gross revenue of at least $25-50 million.• 2 years of supervisory experience of at a minimum 2-3 people.• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting• Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentCompensation depends on experience but is typically 90-110kABOUT KORE1Specializing in professional and technical recruiting, KORE1 is committed to supporting top IT, Engineering, Creative, Scientific, Accounting and Finance professionals in their career paths.
