Sample Job Duties:
- Assist the orthodontist in providing high-quality orthodontic care to patients
- Managing your own schedule of patients with the orthodontist: changing arch wires, bonding brackets and clear aligner attachments
- Patient education and encouragement
- Prepare/tear down treatment area
- Taking x-ray’s, clinical photos and itero scans
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills Needed:
- Orthodontic or Dental assisting experience is required, willing to train a team player with limited orthodontic experience, dental chair side experience and an awesome attitude.
- DANB Radiology certification is required
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Candidate must possess exceptional people and organizational skills.
- As a high tech digital practice, being comfortable with tech and computers is necessary. Experience with iTero scanners is a plus.
- Seeking an extroverted personality with strong communication skills
- Reliability, promptness, and high standards for personal performance are a must.
Paid Vacation and generous 401K. Health care reimbursement if necessary. 32-36 hours per week with one paid weekend of "on call".
Hours: 4.5 days / week, M,T, W, and F from 7:40 AM until 5:30PM, one Thursday per month 9-1. Paid vacation, Generous 401K. Health care reimbursement.
