The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems ina manufacturing environmentin accordance with local and national codes.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics
- Install conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, lighting, and electrical devices
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and components to identify and resolve issues
- Ensure all installations are compliant with the NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and components
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety standards
- Assist in maintaining electrical parts stocking levels to ensure proper parts are on hand.
- Valid TDLR Journeyman Electrician license (TDLR - Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) or better
- 3 years of commercial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must be able to operate mobile equipment (aerial lifts, scissor lift, boom lift, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform quality installations
- Ability to work in outdoor environments
- Computer literate: Microsoft Applications and CMMS software
- Strong manufacturing knowledge and understanding of the procurement/supply chain process
