What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outdoor Services position at Kopke's Greenhouse?
Our Outdoor Services team is responsible for loading customer cars with their purchases including bags of soil and mulch, plants, and other items. In addition, these folks also retrieve shopping carts from our parking lot, prepare supplies for our cashier and bagging/boxing team, and direct car traffic around our farm facility. We see over 30,000 customers in the spring season, so it tends to be a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs multiple times a day, as well as be on your feet for 6-8 hours a day. Forklift skills are a plus, but not necessary. As this seasonal gig runs from mid-April through mid-June, it's perfect for someone looking to stay busy and physically active for 10-12 weeks in the spring!
